I'm paying £60 per month for Sky which is £7.50 for a basic broadband package, £12.50 for all phone calls and £39.50 for TV incl movies.

Does this sound cheap, expensive or average?

I'd like to upgrade to fibre broadband, but that will cost and extra £12.50 per month, and I'm balking at the price.

Try going through or compare the prices on topcashback/quidco whoever you go with.
Even if you dont move providers they usually price match.

There are a few offers on Virgin at the moment if you are in a cable area. However, I think most of the offers do not apply to their cheapest package and are only valid for 6 or 12 months. Provided you don't want the extra TV channels then you should be able to get it all comfortably under £60 a month. Well, when I say comfortably, probably between £30 and £48 depending what specifically you want.

That's the average monthly cost over the 18 months contract.
