Where's the best place to buy seasoned logs around Cheltenham?
My plan is to buy enough for this winter and also the same again unseasoned, I can then store the unseasoned for next year.
Just got a new log burner and now I want to burn stuff.....
My Camel Back is too small to bring a load back from the local woods.

I used to get logs from here

There's a farm and a house next door, you need to go around the back of the house, Saturday mornings only I seem to remember.

We're in the same boat- had an open log fire for years and now going to a log burner.

No idea if they are cheapest but we've used Dowdeswellforestry for the past couple of years. I'm not sure how seasoned they are - they're not too bad but bark is still on and only a little splitting in the end grain.

To kick start I bought a cubic metre of kiln dried from Certainly Wood (somewhere near Hereford but deliver all over) again not sure where they sit on the leader board pricewise for dried wood. Also gone for a huge log store from these people Edistone
