Cheap laser cut wooden model kits

I am a sucker for a jigsaw or little model kits but normally steer clear of the cheap stuff as it never fits together properly and bits snap off. Against my better judgement I risked buying a laser cut plywood model kit for a WW1 tri-plane. The built kit on display looked quite good, don't they always, and as it was only a tenner and the weather was due to be crap I thought it might kill and hour or so.

I then forgot about it.

MrsWCA reminded me about it after dinner this evening so I started building it at about 8pm.

All the pieces released fromt he template cleanly, nothing broke* and it all slotted together without any glue. An entertaining hour. I was pleased as it meant I didn't watch whatever crap was on TV.

*one little lug delaminated so a sliver of ply fell off making that joint loose but a tiny dab of superglue and all was fine.

You can always set fire to it and throw it from an upstairs window for Redbaron The Hun Warlord Annual style Tiktoks

Cute.

I've got a similar tech 'escape room in a box' to tackle at some point.
