My Canon all in one has decided to no longer work with the Apple O/S upgrade that I installed. HP seem to get great reviews but the ink seems to be limited to original supplies. I just don't like spending half the cost of the printer each time I need new ink!!

Anybody know of cheap aftermarket sources for HP?

Thanks

I usually buy my ink from this Person on Ebay:

Never had any bother and the quality is very good.

Hi i've always got my inks from Badger Inks on ebay and have always been very pleased, the ones ive had are not original inks but compatible/remanufactured ones. They seem to have a good range on HP ones so you might be lucky

uhmmm - both of those sell HP OEM stuff only. Maybe its just that HP aren't copyable?

Thanks anyway

I've used these for a Canon printer and had no problems with them. They seem to do their own HP cartridges too!

I was just going to try this seller on amazon, seems to have good reviews and is cheap:

On reflection, this may be down to my choice of machine. I was looking at a premium model that the HP website is knocking out cheap.

Its the Photosmart Premium Fax EAIO C410B

Turnerguy's link looked likely for a while but that model isn't mentioned. Maybe I'll get another canon!!

I've used "thefox60" on ebay . No idea if he does cartridges that fit your machine. My Canon likes them though - the little chips seem to actually work, unlike some other knock-offs I've tried in the past

I go to Asda/Morrisons/PC World/etc & use their own brand. Basically they're HP cartridges, refilled with cheap ink. ink is ink, right?

example, HP21 (black) - HP brand about £19, own brand about £9
HP22 (colour) - HP brand about £22, own brand about £12.
Having said that, I've just looked at Asda online & HP original HP21 is only £12

I'm sure seven months later the OP will be happy to know where to buy ink from in Australia.
