With Imgur if you go to "Images" and then select the image you get the option for the images URI, click the copy button next to that and paste in to the "insert image" dialog. If you get to the image via "Albums" then you can only get the BBCode and you have to strip the [ img ] [ /img ] tags off after you've pasted it in to the dialog.

The last image which worked was Right Click on the image and then Copy Image Address. Seemed to work
