Less: woodcock, not heard a single one droning this year.
cuckoos, a few very briefly
butterflies, not a one yet
More: Goshawks, seen a couple
Ravens, a pair only two days ago
Barn owls, never used to see any around me
This is in Sherwood Forest, very odd year thus far
Whats hot and whats not around you?

Loads more cuckoos on the Quantocks this year.

Lots of cuckoos in North Wales and Scotland
Barn owls (was a good year for their food last year)
Lapwings
goldfinch
ravens
Fewer Green finch
sparrowhawks
butterflies (been too cold, wet and miserable)
