My girlfriend was in an accident with her car. Landrover driver was not looking and smashed into her and smashed her into the car in front.
The Landrover guy was at fault and thats being sorted as girlfriends car is a right off.
My question is: The settlement figure has not been given to her (still waiting) but a company dropped her crashed car onto our drive at our house. Should they do this (as it's their property till the claim is settled) and can I charge for storage on the drive (it's been about 3 weeks)?

I'd say it was your property until it's settled.
Unless she's handed over the registration and posted the slip off to the DVLA with the new owners details on?
It's yours until someone pays you for it.
