Anyone on here local to Formby or the Sefton coast and can recommend or not recommend a car repair garage?
OH's car has thrown an oil pressure warning light. Oil level is fine so hopefully just a faulty switch. It's a 116i so no doubt it will be both catastrophic and costly.

Or, oil pump failure, which comes just before catastrophic engine failure.
I think google reviews is your friend here. Most independent garages are decent now and in the world of social media bad ones are going to have a hard time.
I served my time as a mechanic in formby.
Though the garage was very old school you could try them RA formby 01704 878386 say you know me. But robs nearing retirement and may not be intsted.
Or catteral motors again say you know me.
There was a BMW specialist near the dock road. Ex Williams guy hes good.
Or BMW specialist in southport called linwar motors on Virginia st
