Right
the Volvo v70 needs reinsuring so have used the principles on moneysavingexpert nd done it on (according to the graph) the cheapest day.
The Renewal from Aviva is £60 cheaper than anyone else at £380 fully comp with 15 years NCD!

Any way to get this cheaper that i may have missed?

Loads of things change it up or down randomly. Play with the excess. Add other drivers. Limit the mileage. Also phone them and ask to see what they can do. If you get lucky they can actually be quite helpful

That seems pretty pricey if you're in the country, but about right if you're in a relatively high risk area with a few points etc.
Where do you live, how old are you, have you crashed a lot, and how many points?
Fwiw it's nearly double what my Saab wagon costs me. Late 30s, clean driving history, sleepy village.

OP, for the last two years I have had my renewal through and just called my insurance company and asked if they could do any better before I go and put my details into a price comparison website, they always seem happy to oblige. Have got a reduction each time and then when checked against one or two insurers policy price is competitive or better.

Aviva aren't on price comparisons and they beat the price comparisons by £50-60 today with my details. Want to know if their is anything else i can do to get it cheaper through them?

Direct Line. Not on comparison sites. I tried this year for first time in years and saved 50 quid

Renewal price for our 2 cars was £800. Multi car policy from LV was £380. It wasn't worth phoning Saga back to haggle the price

Sometimes there appears to be no logic to insurance - I seem to have a perfect storm at the minute. The combination of my address (Manchester) and vehicle (pick up) means I'm paying a grand a year fully comp. I'm 45, no points, 14k miles pa and have 19 years no claims!!! Trust me, I shopped around.

I used to have a new Defender at the same address (very nickable!!) and it was a third of the price. If I insure the pick up at another address, it's a third of the price.
