I suspect the majority of the answers will be at a main dealer but I also suspect that is going to be eye wateringly expensive. Got a '14 Puggy Partner and the door seals that go around the car body are starting to come away from the car.
I'm figuring it needs new seals, not a massive issue yet but I suspect if left they will then fail at some point and water won't have any issues with getting in.
It looks a bit fiddly and will require more than a bit of patience so I'm not convinced I can do this myself...so where would be a sensible place to go to get it done? Body repair shop? (Suspect that is the sensible place as they must surely reinstall rubber seals to cars when doing repairs, yeah?)
The sliding hinge at the rear door section (underneath the window) has also started peeling, I'm assuming that can either be replaced or resprayed - body shop for that as well?
Tick. Need one for a VW Touran but I'd like to avoid the £73 dealer price for just supplying.
I had the old rusty seal problem on my Transporter drivers door - the seal itself goes rusty as a result of being stepped on. Watched a couple of videos, read a couple of forum posts, then paid £40 for one off eBay and did it myself. Trim removal tools and some spare plastic clips are helpful. These jobs are always fiddly but not especially difficult…
If I was to get it done by someone then yes car body place would be my choice. They will have a lot more experience of this sort of thing than a main dealer.

Yeah, I've done it before. It's a faff and it takes time - which means most garages will charge 1-2 hours' labour for it.
If the seals are intact but loose, you can buy a roll of the adhesive goo for ~£10 and just tack it back on. If it's a small section you can also use Sikaflex.
How difficult are they to remove/fit? Last time I had any involvement (20 years ago) the seal had a spring steel spine/core and just pressed onto the bodywork flange.
I replaced some seals once and it was just a case of pulling the old one off and tapping to new one into places with a soft mallet, although I could have done it by hand really. One of the easier jobs I’ve done on a car.

Judging by the number of Fords I see with bits of door seal poking out of the bottom of the doors, it’s an issue that seems to solve itself with some cars. I think Ford use cheap double-sided tape from their local Pound Shop, although it does seem to affect mostly Focus cars; I have yet to see it on an EcoSport…
As pointed out, other manufacturers seem to have the seal sit inside a channel, so not so much of an issue.
On the T6 it’s not the seal itself but the fact you have to remove various bits of trim, step etc to do the job properly. As said the seal just pushes on once the trim is out of the way then you put the trim back on top…. There’s quite an art to getting it back on so it’s not loose though…
Ring Michael Kiczun in Falkirk. He does caravan repairs, campervan conversions, etc, so has some rolls of window seal which might work.

Failing that find an autojumble. Many traders, such as "car builder solutions" (who I've used) do mail-order & have rolls of different shaped seal. Easiest to select when you have the old one to compare though.

A lot of them aren't just lengths of standard profile seal these days though, they have moulded corners or leading edges and such.
Dunno specifically about the Pug Partner, but my old Expert definitely did on the front doors.
Had a 54 plate civic where the driver door seal went. Bought a load of genetic seal off Amazon. Fixed it no bother.
