Have been throught the various steps to add account to iphone but when it comes to synch using GooSynch it fails and says: "Synch failed:Access denied"
Any advice on how to get this to work?

why are you using GooSync? I'm sure I don't and it works perfectly.
Use this method from google themselves.

Why do you need "goosynch" (what ever that is)?
Just add google as an exchange account and you'll be able to push sync your mail, calendars and contacts no problem.

Touch the calendar icon! (the one with the date on it)

think I've managed to sort it out - needed to set google calendar as the default calendar!!
Now to synch google docs!!
