As above i'm just about to ditch loads of hardcore and was just wondering if i should save it for later in the year when i've got to lay some founds for an extension.
Are the rules now that you have to use reinforced concrete only with no filler?

You could keep it for a base layer under a driveway or infill for a soak away but chucking in rubble to your foundations is probably a big no no.. its gotta take the weight of your house dont forget

Concrete for trench fill foundations needs to be minimum st1 grade. More likely st2 grade. No need to use reinforced.
Speak to building control though and ask for advice.
