I quiet like the way after a smash it's Billy-Bob who turns up in his pick up to help out.

To me it looks like it may be top 3 for Alonso. Seems like they were cruising at the start, but the wick has been turned up now and experience will count.

Dodgy internet stream! Took a while to find one.

Or it's on BT ESPN Sport

2.5 hours in, 60 laps to go. It's a day out isn't it!

Alonso looking good for it now, a lot of his nearest rivals are out.

Will Andretti Racing give him the win if their cars are 1-2-3 at the end?

Never watched a whole Indy before, really enjoyed that - gutted for Alonso, but a belting race. 🙂

I reckon Alonso has been a huge success for Indycar in any case - would any of you lot have cared about the result if he hadn't had a go (personally I think this it the first time I've been aware of the winner immediately after it happened, I only discovered who last year's winner was a few weeks ago!)

Absolutely - I haven't had an interest since Emerson Fittipaldi resurrected his career in Indycars, quite shocked how many former winners they mentioned I've never heard of.

The last time I was bothered about Indy was when Jim Clark won.
