Hi all

Looking for suggestions. Has to be NW area (Lakes, Dales, Welsh Coast etc). Ideally with electric hook up for campervan.

Went to a site near Pooley Bridge last time and there was no great need to drive anywhere - lots to do locally. Would like to try another location in a similar vein.

Family trip, two kids 10 & 13.

Any places spring to mind? Good facilities required (not a field with a bog!) and a pub would finish it off nicely...

Likely too far but Hillend Campsite in the Gower ticks all the relevant boxes.

I stumbled across this ages ago when it was recommended by a guy off the cycling podcast. North Wales.

Lane foot looks a fair walk into Keswick? Any idea how long?

Ticks all other boxes - thanks.

Any other suggestions?

Coniston Park Coppice, it's caravan club. We've gone a week there with little car use.

trying to get on the Keswick site with a big moho is bloody hard work. I think it books up almost as soon as the release the dates.
