Hi
Can anyone recommend a campsite that ticks the followong boxes
South East England (Kent, Essex, Sussex)
Allows Fires
Near a beach
Surrounded by woods and wildlife
Child Friendly
Near a pub
I would be prepared to travel further afield to get all of the above if I had to. I am going to take my daughter (5) away camping for her first proper time for 3 or 4 nights in July, with Mrs-g and baby-g meeting us for the final night or two, so it is extremely important that this turns out well if I want any chance of going camping ever again
Thanks
Steve
Have a look on the Cool Camping web site

BN24 6PR half way between bexhill and eastbourne and across the road from a beach - no fires but should be ok on the beach.
10minutes from the pub with good kiddy play area http://www.vintageinn.co.uk/thelambinnpevenseymarsh/
Had a great weekend in blackberry wood (or maybe blueberry?) Near Ditchling. Its a drive to the beach but ticks the rest of your boxes, including fires.
