We are arriving in Calais Sunday night via Eurostar(hopefully!) idealy we want to get away from that area firstly & are heading towards Normandy for a few days. Can anyone recommend a nice site no more than 2 hour's drive from Calais (for example around the Dieppe area) where we can arrive after 10pm, park our van and that can accept dogs.

Do you need a proper site? The Aires in France are pretty good. There's a handy guide called All the Aires. Can see the benefit of a site if you are spending time there but if its just a rest stop the Aires are useful

thank you Nick, thats a very good shout & I completley forgot about the Aires (its been a long time since I've been to France)
