I’m just thinking of a little trip to the elan valley/Rhyader area in june
any campsite recommendations?
Looked at Wyeside which although well placed for the town is really expensive…£46 a night with a hookup for the 2 of us.
Somewhere with a pub in walking distance would be great!

There's Elan Oaks which is 3 miles away and Is £30 per night and has a trail to the local town

Blimey, that’s punchy.
yep.. It's that place we stayed at.
I don't remember it being that great. Even the 5* luxury camping that is Pencelli is no where near that.
