We camped all last summer with our 2 year old, no bother, however we are away to Bakewell on easter monday, and the weather isn't looking ace, getting down to freezing during the night.

Now we are cheating and have bought an electrical hook up, and fan heater for the tent, Has anyone else had their little ones camping in this weather?

Paul

yep, colder than this and younger than 2. No worries...wrap up well, share the same bedroom and take extra sleeping bags.

No need for leccy...

Just remember that insulation under the body is important too.

Agreed - spare blankets etc are good, sharing sleeping space etc - Kids sleep warm IME, its the waking up time thats cold for them.
We took a pot-bellied cast barbecue on some camp / canoe trips - and used it as a fire pit - its great in the morning and evening.

I swear I had to read back over that as I skimmed in the first place and read "...pot-beliied pig..." 😯
