I have a Nikon V1.. and generally use it in auto type modes.
Im looking to take some close up macro shots.
I have a NIKKOR VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 lens and a VR 30-110mm.. but these not obviously suitable.
I need to take some photos of coins and some other detailed stuff.
Can anyone recommend a lens or cheapest way (could use an adaptor?) to buy what i need?

?
No idea if it's any good or not, but appears to be exactly what you're after. Alternative would be the adaptor that lets you use normal SLR lenses, plus a macro lens.
Very cheapest way...

The quality is not fantastic, but oftentimes you only use it a few times for coins, watches, etc...
I use one, when I have to take extreme closeups.
Just pick one in the right diameter, and you are sorted!
Crap answer but, try your phone!
The small lens used in phones often takes remarkably good macro shots (assuming we are talking "close up of a coin" macro and not "close up of a fly's eyelash" macro)
