The SSS on my old Sony A900 has decided to stop working - the only repair place local I've found is AJ Johnstone, does anyone have any experience of them? It's an old camera but I'm emotionally attached to it 😉

Calumet is another (and just along from your shop). Never used them for a repair though

I wouldn't go to AJ johnston - does sony not have an offical repair centre in the UK you can send it to?
Calumet just send them away to another company I think
The official repair centre have been rubbish at answering my emails, but I'll give them another go - did you have a bad experience with AJ Johnstone?

Got through to the regional repair centre - they seem confident about being able to get parts, will give them a go. Thanks.
