I have finally been diagnosed after xray as having calcium deposits in my shoulder after far to long suffering quite a lot of pain. I have been referred up to the consultant on 9th January after physio not resolving the issue. It was originally thought that it was bursitis, I guess could still be both.

Has anyone had similar? I have looked on the web but not a great deal of detail around recovery time or real world experiences as it looks like I may need an op to remove them. Only one shoulder has been investigated so far but I get pain in both so will get the consultant to check each.

My sympathy

No idea. I have bits of extra bone in both ankles and brother in law has bit round his knee. Both wasted time worrying about it. Both getting back out on the bike....
