I'm looking for a new car for the wife, and came across this...

Just looks too cheap compared to other stuff I have seen. Is it a scam? The email address on the last photo just looks dodgy to me.
Yes.
Autotrader normally take those down quite quickly.
Cheers.
Not used to buying cars, I tend to just run them into the ground and inherit my next one from family members.
Thought it looked wrong. Wonder what the actual scam is? Stolen car, or just someone trying to get money up front?
Thanks again
I saw loads of these when I was car hunting on Autotrader a few months ago.
Initially, I emailed one of them and they emailed back straight away. I then saw another ad with the same details, so I bolted. Must be some sort of scam to get you to part with bank details (aren't they all!).
Quite a few of the ads seem to have been ripped off from legit companies - i recognised quite a few of the cars
If you have to ask...
At least Autotrader has a "report this ad" button now.
Well, it's a jungle out there.
Makes me wonder how I keep from going under.
