Mark,

I like these;

'Not not cancer. I'm busy'
'Because we don't give up. Ever'
and also
'Terminal is open to interpretation'

I think it sounds better than incurable..but its a personal thing.

Have a nice sunday in the wet lakes!

Morning M & M! -
Raining in the lakes eh, what are the chances of that ๐Ÿ˜‰
Hope you have a great week though.

Got lucky and met up with Sharki yesterday= 3 things
Bliddy good fun on the Q's despite my own stupidity restricting me to one gear..
Bliddy tired legs today..
Most importantly - he was wearing his Team BullHeart cycling top.

Having seen that, and taking the lead from your preferences I'd suggest...

Bullheat logo where it is on current jersey - above the heart.
'Because we don't give up. Ever' means the most to you so either have that text below the logo or in a circle, around the logo.

On the back - i'm presuming that's where the big statement is going?

Terminal is open to interpretation
- i agree with you in that i'm not sure 'incurable' has the same impact.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Oh, one other thought- 'Terminal - it's also the start of the journey'

I like incurable too, and nearly suggested it. I like it because my own lymphoma is generally regarded as incurable, but I have no intention of dying! As mentioned earlier in the thread I feel that it would be a shame for your hugely positive story to generate distress for patients friends or family of other cancer battlers, and generally when the terminal word is used their isn't much ambiguity.

IMO - terminal is one less syllable and people will understand it. the fact that there isn't much ambiguity makes it all the more powerful a message. but i think 'not now cancer, I'm busy', sums up Marks approach perfectly - it has a bit of dark humour and tenacious attitude. as for not upsetting people, that shouldn't be a consideration.

I prefer the message of not now but feel the phrasing could be better. Not sure how though. A suggestion would be "cancer? Not now I'm busy." But I know that's not right either. And not taking consideration of others feelings? Glad I'm not in marketing.

All I meant is that there are so many possible ways that someone you don't know could be offended without you intending it, that you just have to do what you feel is the best thing and let people get upset while you get on with doing what is necessary.

Fair enough, I can live with that ๐Ÿ™‚

Not now cancer, Im busy.. is good if you know the outcome. But couldn't it also be a cry of desperation from someone who doesn't have an outcome?

C'mon Petesgaff, show us your wares!!

They will be available on the Spokeshirts website in a few weeks time. Interestingly the pink hadn't been thought of as a girls shirt; more a limited run of pink.
