Quick question from a luddite. We are moving to a farm which hasn't got cable in to the property. Currently we have cable and the braodband goes along with our telly and phone through Virgin Media. The new house has got satellite, but how do I get broadband ? Do I need to get broadband through one of those mobile "dongle" thingys or is there a more simple way like through the phone line ????

I can't think of anything worse than going back to dial up. I may need to kill myself. Might slow down my bike purchasing though !!!

Any help, very gratefully recieved.

Many thanks
Sean

Broadband is available through a conventional phone line, yes. Provided if course you're in an area covered by an appropriately-equipped exchange and within range.
