I'm thinking of ditching my home landline, as I make most of my calls on a mobile. However, still need broadband, so does anyone know the options for getting a decent broadband connection without paying for a phone line?

if you're in a cable area I think Virgin do broadband without a phone.

Yup, virgin offer broadband without needing a landline. Haven't had a landline in years!

I'm with Virgin at the moment - I'll give them a ring and see what they can do. Also going to drop their TV as it doesn't offer anything over freeview.
