Might be time to decide what you're going to do once the UK leaves the EU.
If you've been the Vaterland for eight you'll be eligible for German citizenship. Or if you marry a Fräulein you should be good but way you may have to give up your UK citizenship.
Could also be problems if you're thinking of leaving germany to live in another eu country.....
