Anyone bled there brakes with dot 4 instead of mineral oil is it enough to just flush it out with the correct oil it was in for a day cheers in advance. John

Chances are, all rubber parts, seals, bladders etc are now buggered. The two really don't mix.

If they're Shimano, spare seals don't really exist which might make that a very expensive mistake.

Nightmare will that be seals in calliper & lever

'fraid so. Someone one came to me with a set of Hayes that had been bled with mineral oil. All rubber and plastic parts had to be replaced. Basically, if it's not metal, it's in the bin. Metal parts will need to be cleaned with IPA.
