Our free to air german satellite is borked... Working from the Astra just a blue screen with the channel name.. the cables to the roof look ok, the connections on the roof look ok... so the question is:
To check the signal at the box end, can I swap in a Sky box to see if its working and sending a good signal or is this too simple...
Is there another way of seeing if the signal is ok and the actuall box/decoder s stuffed?

buy a signal strength tester, they only cost a few quid at maplins
