"I will continue to speak my mind because I think people deserve to hear what's going on in my head"
Oh Boris not me I'm not worthy
Saw bits of the Laura K interview
he literally has no idea
even worse was Bernard Jenkin on newsnight, Maitliss pushed him, but he is a pure BS factory
Front-runner knob cheese **** wit is on LBC shortly. I wouldn't expect too much of a hard time from Tory supporting Ferrari but there might be one or two moments from the public.
LBC it is then…
He hasn't answered any questions so far during this campaign, he certainly isn't changing his tone during the LBC interview. He is point blank refusing to answer actual questions.
His interviewer is someone I rarely agree with, but he is a professional, and will do his job.
Ferrari is not going easy on him at all.
He's trying to claim the benefit for the work that Amber Rudd and others did as regards Russia. He was kept well away from all of that… as he wasn't trusted by PM May (or his FCO officials) to handle it.
It seems like the belief in cakism with regards to EU is still alive and well in Borises head. Still peddling the same old unicorns

Yup, it was embarrassing to watch.
So much BS in his bumbling replies, I think he has reached max blustering buffoonery.
It was all made worse by the fact that I had just watched an episode of Years and Years.
I’ve stopped doing fake politics and am working through Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister. Just as silly but better written than real life.
We've started watching the Thick of it again. It now looks an aspirational model for competent government.
Seems like we're presently stuck in a particularly bleak episode of it, without the humour
That BBC interview was awful, the problem is even best case scenario of Hunt winning will mean Boris will get another shot at being leader pretty soon. Our best chance is to get him voted out in Uxbridge his constituency at a General Election.
The problem is, these interviews he does simply reinforce the idea that he is dishonest and incompetent… but his supporters already know this, and consider that already factored in, they simply don't care…
His levels of incompetence are truly staggering. From this mornings LBC Nick Ferrari interview, he just won't shut up.

This is the price the British public is going to pay for driving the so-called "ruling elite" underground. The old Etonians who actually run this country in the background will be laughing up their sleeves at Boris's antics while continuing to export their cash to tax havens and quietly enjoy their country pursuits of huntin' shootin' and fishin'. They don't care a damn if Britain becomes the laughing stock of Europe; they've got their wealth stashed away in Barbados or any one of the 20 or so tax havens in the nicer corners of the world.
pic of the day

they’ve got their wealth stashed away
Plus they'll be looking for all the money-making opportunities arising from the shock doctrine of a no-deal withdrawal. Maybe repo men or selling tracky bottoms in addition to selling off the NHS. However the track record suggests that Boris is not very good at withdrawals.
Its staggering isn't it? I used to think that he was a mendacious, scheming bastard deliberately misleading us all, but it's becoming increasingly obvious that he simply has absolutely no idea what he's on about and just making it up as he goes along.
No wonder his minders want to keep him away from any kind of questioning. He's just blathering complete nonsense

it's always worth re quoting Ian Hislop at time like this 😀 .....
people always ask me the same question, they say, 'Is Boris a very very clever man pretending to be an idiot?' And I always say, 'No.'
I was listenting to R4 on the way to work and they had (I think) James Broeknshire on supporting Johnson. To one question his answer was something along the lines of 'Boris will be setting out the detial as we advance.' So the best one of his supporters can say is he is quite literally making it up as they go along!
Looking at the lot of them, its an absolutely damning indictment of the most expensive education money can buy

He isn’t/hasn’t. That’s the job of the team pulling his strings. He’s just a figurehead, and they don’t want him committing to anything as if you take a side, you alienate the other side.
All this non answering of questions means people will just assume his policies and that they will be ones that they agree with.

You couldn't be more wrong. You don't send your children to public school because it will make them more intelligent. You send them because it will ingrain in them a sense of entitlement that means they can go through life in the sincerely held belief that they are superior beings and that the general mass of people really don't matter.

No, it's quite the opposite, it's a brilliant advert.
"Bumbling bafoon? Mumbling imbecile? Willfully incompetent? You too could potentially be the next leader of the world's 5th largest economy. There's no need for talent, ability, honesty or accountability, come to Eton and buy your success. Aptitude is over rated, genius is for poor people. Nepotism is the future, success is for the Old Estonians."
his supporters already know this, and consider that already factored in, they simply don’t care…
Sounds very much like something that someone would say about Trump....
After two years of laughing at America of having Trump, we are now getting our own budget version. I honestly despair.
Fair point dangerbrain
And when your obvious failings are ruthlessly exposed, you just do a Dave or Gideon and wander off to your highly paid consultancies or editorship of a national newspaper, with no consequences or repercussions whatsoever
Let the little people clear up the mess you made. As I'm sure Boris will be doing very shortly

California?? What have they got to do with this?

Aye,Bojo will have already ordered his Shepherd's hut.
He could pitch in his old home town,Central Park maybe.

Are you new here?
You don’t send your children to public school because it will make them more intelligent.
Depends on the public school really.
For the better ones there are clear advantages:
Better teaching. Both with lower class numbers and better facilities. So your kid is going to do better.
Networking.
Although it is always risky confusing someones ability to bullshit on the fly with actual intelligence. Its the emphasis on this on interviews and debates which helps leads to the mess we are in.
I am surprised though with his background he isnt better at handling this sort of thing. Must have avoided the actual debating side of things at the Oxford Union.
He really is trying to burnish his brexiteer credentials. Iain Duncan Smith is now his campaign chair. I am assuming its a honorary position since surely not even johnson would trust that arsehole to do anything
He could become the first person to become both British Prime Minister and President of United States, being born in the US.
His slogan could be 'Make America a Colony Again'
The thing that gets me about todays boris bus story.. apart from the fact it is certainly made up bullsit for his own amusement; is that the first thing that came to his mind that he could paint, was a presentation wine box. He's going so deep into piss-artistry its unbeliveabe.

Not according to the education professionals I know. You might get better exam results but that is NOT the same ting as a better education and boarding schools badly damage children - google "boarding school syndrome"
SHOW US THE BUS.
Also, that LBC interview is almost the perfect somethingion of the man isn't it- avoid questions all the way through then try to declare yourself the winner, and accuse the interviewer of "running away" for wanting to end the interview at the end of the interview.
but that is NOT the same ting as a better education
....says the graduate of the Bob Marley Independent School for Wayward Boys.
PP - after your comments on Jeremy Hunt yesterday

Hunt woos Manchester with Special Brew, pie and spice
Bloody cheek, ripping off my act! 🙂
This is a really good piece that explains how schools and university formed the raft of shit floating at the top of the Conservative party.
TL;DR - They all went to Oxford with each other and are trained in the art of bullshit over knowledge. Also, old boys networks that are formed from boarding school.

Pfft you keep pushing this. Firstly saying "boarding school" or "public school" to group people is as useful as saying "Audi driver", not everyone you want to push into the group is the same, far from it.

And how would you like to pay for that sir?
