Being new to the world of parenting (well 10 months in) we're going on holiday and the hotel we want to stop off in on our way to the air bnb only offers double rooms. This is fine form our point of view as we have a travel cot, however, I'm wondering if this is a big no no from the hotel's point of view... anyone have any experience?

It's a mecure hotel in france for one night for reference...

yeah just show up, check in on your own without the kid and your wife can just walk through with bubs in a carrier. I may have snuck several kids into hotels this way

Let them know. In my experience it's always been fine, but never know what insurance restrictions might be involved on their side.
Eg they could have a H&S policy that prevents travel cots in a standard room as it represents a risk if there's a fire etc

It's on the way to somewhere else!

I'll book it and put a note in the notes to the hotel and see what happens i guess. Tho 5labs technique is pretty tempting!
