Don't suppose any kitchen fitters / plumbers know the legislation detailing the distance requirements between a hob and a boiler?
cheers
A few years ago had a gas hob fitted with just a 300mm wall cupboard between the two. Chap was gas safe so assume he would have said if no good- I do know he did have requirements for distance of stuff directly above the hob.
If you can find the installation manual for your boiler online it's usually detailed in there.
From what I recall, 150mm gap to the side, and at least 450 higher (mounted to the side, not above)
I have seen a boiler mounted directly above the freestanding cooker. I really didnt think that was OK, but I'm not Gassafe registered.
