does anybody blog? I do not sure how or if I want to share so looking for the consensus
I have a blog, I updated it for the first time in over a year a couple of days ago.
If you're not dying to share your opinion on everything with the world, don't bother. It'll only last a couple of posts.
this coming from a guy who started the "facebook is a invasion of my privacy and a waste of time" group?
I get the distinct impression that the blogosphere has reduced in size rather a lot since the popularisation of facebook, as realistically no one reads your blog unless you are this close to them || or can make up enough lies and slander to make it exciting. Facebook actually fixes this quite well by providing a single aggregator for all these mewings in the dark.
That was the only time I will ever defend facebook.
facebook is a invasion of my privacy and a waste of time" group
glad you remember, though as you sit next to me at work it's hardly surprising!
I suppose I do, yeah. I started off just publishing photos but then I had a few other things I wanted to put up on t'internet as well so added more and I eventually made the front page into a blog, mostly because I like having it all in chronological order.
If you've got something you want to publish then I don't see why not. If a blog's a good format then go for it. If not, you could just have a website which is much cooler I hear. ;O)
The only problem I find with the blog format is that it looks a bit gash if you haven't added anything in a while. That wasn't a problem before I switched to the blog format.
If your life is incredibly exciting or if you write well enough to make baby jesus cry or if you have ideas that literally set your hair on fire, blog away. There's an absolute shitload of people who have incredibly boring lives who write terribly, blogging away like crazy on the internet and these people get mentions in the guardian and the times. I remember one chap was a waiter in a new york cafe who was supposed to be the best blogger on earth. It was the most tedious crap I've ever read.
'today I got up and had my breakfast, it was shredded wheat, but I put some banana on it to make it exciting'
At least I swear on my blog which is big and clever.
Yes. I just blog our rides as its a nice reminder to read back over the coming years. Only just started last October. Click my name to see it.
