Have a client who wants to go on holiday to Egypt - he has pretty limited mobility and will be going with his thirteen year old daughter and a friend who also suffers mobility issues, but not to the same extent.
Having looked at the reviews and last minute.com, the Three Corners St George seems right up their street, reasonably priced and very well reviewed.
Anyone with any experience of this place or any others which might be suitable?
Do I win a prize for most obscure thread of the day, or does the nipple piercing one just shade it? 😀
Depends whether they want to stay in the hotel all the time, but that one looks as though it's away from the centre; you might want to look at one of the hotels on the walkway that runs along the beach like the Movenpick or the Fayrouz Hilton. From recollection these both have ground floor rooms that open on to level walkways. Don't go for one of the hotels at the Tiran Straits end which tends to be more hilly (4 Seasons is excellent but needs mountaineering skills).

We stayed here for 7 days two years ago now easy access for anyone not very mobile all areas accessable via walkways new water park area just opened as part of the complex whilst there.
Had grand kids with us 3&4 yrs old bit of a battle with the others ref the food at all inclusive meal times, but I think that is the same where ever you go in the med Turkey Egypt area's.(Russian's like it there)
Check trip advisor and also diff sites for flights and transfers to hotel.
good point is hotel is just 15 mins from airport and not on flight path.
All luggage taken to room for you ,free transport to private beach ,Taxi's cheap as well.
We stayed here - Hilton, Sharks Bay 2 years ago. Great spot and they've now opened a whole new side to the place.
From memory (just the two of us - no kids / wheelchair concerns) disabled access at the top of the resort was good - ramps and lifts. Dropping down to the sea (can hardly say there's a beach there) was a long, steady slope, no steps.
Food was perfectly fine, staff were great - friendly and helpful, rooms - just as shown on Hiltons own site - to me eqiv to a quality UK 3 star.
