Definitely done this time, I've checked and everything.
Done, 3 lines worth. If I do win the bike I'll use it for a bit and if any more funds are required then it'll be auctioned again.
Done, have a Banana on me!
Donated two lines worth. Under name Ben Waterhouse. Got my forum name in comments, buggered if I could work out how to change my name. Will try to pm anonymous. Happy to put on record that if I win the bike I'll put it straight back up again to be raffled (in truth if I procure another bike I'll have smashed through the S-1 barrier and then some..)
You did it perfectly funkrodent 🙂 Thanks and good luck.
Edit: We're at £920. Thank you so much everyone.
Payday this week so more to come.
2 lines from me (Nick Thorne). Forgot to put the stw on the donating page.
Done, in for a tenner. That´s only a couple of beers which I could well do without.
I just want to say thank you to everyone for joining in with this. Thanks also to Mark for giving the nod in advance for this to be a sticky.
I looked over the bike today and for a split second thought I would miss it, but that feeling was replaced by the knowledge that you've raised £965 for Bullheart and his family by participating.
The draw will take place tomorrow at 7pm (and it's not to late to late to enter - four figures would be a lovely achievement for a Trek-era Klein 🙂 )
another couple of lines 🙂
although I mis-spelt my username.
And a couple of lines from me. If i win bike will be sold and all proceeds to Marks fund.

Just leaving the link here, save you scrolling back to find where to donate.
Hats off to anonymous for a brilliant gesture. Been meaning to drop a few quid into the hat from my direction for the past week - now done.
Draw done. Just waiting for the video to upload to YouTube 🙂
Oh the suspense!
Well done anonymous.
Nothing to see here 🙂
Thanks to everyone for participating and congratulations to @hillingdonbanana who has a PM waiting for him.
You've all raised an unbelievable £1,035!
Great work 🙂
Thank you anonymous, and congrats to hillingdonbanana. 🙂
Incredible work anonymous, well done
And thanks for your donation, sbob & others - it's those that actually made it work (and the forum moderators, who were really helpful with a few hiccups along the way).
As a bonus I have a second login now to troll TJ with. Helmet thread anyone?
Cheers and goodnight!
Brilliant!
I am so happy that this raised more than £1000 for Bullheart, and winning the draw has had a profound effect on me... please indulge me with a little background detail:
On Thursday night my mother passed away. She was was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer in November, so it wasn’t unexpected, but she went downhill very rapidly. It was tough accepting that nothing could be done, but when I read about Bullheart’s situation a couple of weeks ago I made a donation to try and help him and his family. I never considered that I could win.
My brother had been caring for my mother, and earlier this week he said she had got noticably worse and on Thursday lunchtime he called to say that we needed to get there. I was working some distance from home, but when I got back we sat the kids (7,9 &13) down, told them the news, jumped in the car and travelled to Mums knowing that we may not make it in time.
We got there at 9:15 and she passed away at 9:50. We got to say our final goodbyes, but it was not pretty... she didn’t want to go like that and I was angry that I could not help here more.
It may seem petty, but the next morning her cat brought in a badly mauled bird which I had to dispatch... how is it that it is OK to do this to a small animal, but not with a person? To add more woe, upon returning home last night we discover one of the childrens hamsters was in a terrible state and I had to put that little fella out of his misery as well. What is the saying about things coming in threes?
I wasn’t feeling too great this morning, but when I went outside to feed the bunnies I saw that the local frogs have been getting jiggy as the pond contained lots of frogspawn. It was also clear that some of it was fresh, but some clumps were from the previous night.
This was great, it picked us up knowing that the past two days were not just about death.
I took a photo of the frogspawn with my phone and then checked my emails and saw the PM notification... Amazement? surprise? happiness? Who knows but then it came… I was an absolute wreck and went to pieces! Whatever it was it has allowed me to have a massive release of emotions and I don’t think i have ever cried so much!
Would I have had this release anyway… I don’t know, but I feel so much better now it has happened, and it was the generosity of Anonymous that made it happen it.
The bike is too small for me, but it is perfect for my 13 year old son. I was incredibly proud of him on Thursday night as he wanted to be with his Nana until the end, and this almost seems like fate.
Well done hillingdonbanana - great to hear the bike is going to be used. Sorry to hear about the loss of your mum.
**** cancer.
I think it's perfect that your son, hillingdonbanana, will be making use of the bike. A small but beautiful mercy.
I trust you will be teaching him the ancient art of the wheelie...? 😀
Big love all round.

sbob.
How appropriate, and poignant. Sorry for your losses, 'nana. Hope your lad loves the bike, he'll have a tale to tell when he's older.
I can't think of a more deserving winner. It's dusty again in here. Well done to all who took part.
It's just occurred to me..
Simply make your donation on his link above referencing your STW name, and then post ‘in’/’done’/’banana’
..and the winner's STW name was banana.
Fate 🙂
Absolute gentleman though and a great winner. Thanks again for everyone's participation and if Bullheart is reading this, best wishes.
