Shall I split it up or keep it whole? Got too many bikes so one must go....(it's a rocket btw)
I'm sure you'll get more overall if you split, but I'm pretty sure a rocket will sell either way.
I sold my turner a while back put it up for 1500 then 1400 then down to 1100 no bites so split it and after postage I made 1785 and had some finishing kit left over too ๐
Rockets only came out a couple of months ago, you can't have one for sale already!?
Yep your right cept I've got 9 bikes so need to cull a few....the rocket is ace but I've got a five and a fuel....so a bit top heavy on full sus...I'll get some choice photos up..I'll try it together first then split if I have to

OP must be Hora's second login! I'll report it! ๐
I've had it a while...nearly a year I think...it was one of the first shipment
They launched in April-ish didn't they? So 6 months?
Does sound a very overlapping collection you've got there! Probably get more money if you split and manage to sell everything, but you risk being left with a few bits at the end, and its a bit more hassle.
I can appreciate that you wont want to say anything bad about a bike you're trying to sell, but I'd be interested to hear why you decided to get rid of the Rocket, rather than the Trek or the Orange.
Cheers,
Andy
No worries...the trek is in a state, the orange is proper ace.i like the rocket too..just not as much as the five.thought it would sell pretty quick too
Yup it's just over five months old(the frame)
Sell the frame, keep the bits - and use them when others break/wear-out. Eventually is you do this for others you don't ride you'll end up with the one bike you ride and a huge pile of bits.
I did ๐
You always do better splitting a bike and selling it all in pieces on Ebay, than trying to shift it complete.
You'd think you owned a bike shop with all those bikes.
Yep I thought it may be better splitting...I'll keep the forks as I've got a soul I want to build up...ta all
More people are generally willing to part with smaller amounts of cash- so it will sell quicker in parts.
You'll generally get more in parts on eBay compared to a complete bike, but you'll pay more in eBay fees- so it usually evens out.
