Morning folks

I'm currently working as a design engineer but I'm bored with it and would like to do something else. Have tried some agencies but they are only offering me the same kind of work somewhere else.

I'm not looking for a new career I'd like something a lot less demanding. An ordinary office job, that sort of thing

I don't mind diversifying and I would pretty much consider anything. Where would be the best place to start looking for a wide variety of jobs? I just need some ideas at the moment.

Cheers

You'll get bored quickly and will be looking for a more demanding job. Ordinary office job usually = Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

What's you're idea of "not a lot"?

Gareth Bale probably thinks £100k a year is "not a lot", whereas Saido Berahino gets by on £850 a week.

Do you know anything about PHP as you could take a job at another MTB Mecca.

Other than that I'm confused as you don't want a career change but don't seem to want to anything new.

As it happens I do but I'd rather not have anything more to do with it

Sorry if my post was confusing.

My definition of a career is an occupation that involves some kind of special training or qualifications, and has definite prospects. I've got a career as a design engineer but I've lost interest in it and I don't want to embark on a different career with more specialised training and more qualifications

The recruitment agencies only tell me about roles similar the one I'm already in but I'd like to know where to start looking for something less high-profile - if that makes sense

Ah right it was probably me being a bit thick to be honest.

Well you need to have an idea what you want, what hours you want to work and if it's local.

Popular one on here for people dropping of the career line is a bike shop mechanic.
