THE THE - INFECTED
Brilliant album, but I thought it was critically acclaimed and hence hardly underrated
A Perfect Circle - Thirteenth Step
Simply awsome!!
Not sure about underrated, but a few that may have slipped under the radar for some:
Helmet - Meantime
Quicksand - Slip
Refused - The shape of punk to come
The Young Gods - L'eau rouge
The Wedding Present - Seamonsters
Lucero - That much further west
Life of Agony - Soul searching sun
Cave In - Antenna
Entombed - To ride, shoot straight and speak the truth
The get up kids - Something to write home about
Promise Ring - Very emergency
Leatherface - Mush
Seafood - When do we start fighting
Seaweed - Four
.......could go on forever ๐
Seamonsters is a great shout rusty. The WP seemed to get a lot of stick at the time but that is a great album. Albini production really made the difference to their normal sound.
Couple of mates went to Brighton to see them recently, last year I think (I couldn't make it). Gedge only played about 3 old songs ๐
Billy Mackenzie ...Beyond The Sun
Scott Matthews ...Passing Stranger
The Waterboys - This is the Sea
The Stone Roses - The Second coming
The Eels - Souljacker
The National - Alligator
love and money - Strange kind of Love
fat lady sings - Twist
Diesel park west - Shakespeare alabama
Didn't everyone have The Return of Bruno back when Moonlighting was the best show on tv?
Someone mentioned the Adventures. Just send my Heart was a top track.
Thought of another one
Oar by Alexander "Skip" Spence. Or any album by Moby Grape for that matter.
Anything by Sparklehorse.
^^ Agreed! Sparklehorse are brilliant. I doubt I'd know about them if it weren't for Earthed.....is that sad?
