Was fishing in Anglesey about 10 years ago and my youngest daughter ran up to me with a silver object in her hand saying she had found a bomb.......and she had, a bud bomb (blue angel variety). Not my find but still comes in handy to this day
Couple of years ago I stumbled across 3 bin bags with the remains of a weed harvest in......took it home and managed to get about two ounces of very nice pickings from it, took hours to do my harvest but worth it.
A sheet of trips in Glastonbury......mad crazy weekend
A wallet belonging to a teacher who I didnt get on with....had his cash card in with the PIN number written down on seperate piece of paper, the fool!!
Plenty of hedge porn, still
First time out on a road bike last night after years of swearing i'd never do it, spotted a fiver by the side of the road.
Naturally, I handed it in at the [s]local pub on the way home[/s] police station this morning.
[quote=craigxxl ]Found a set of keys with a BMW key on it at Morrisons. Went to hand them in at Customer Services and the dickhead that cut me up earlier in his X5 was given the girl behind the counter some grief over his missing keys insisting he must have pick pocketed. Decided to buy a lottery ticket instead and hand the keys in at the police station instead.
Brilliant. *chapeau*
G spot...
Pics or didn't happen
🙂
on the way home from wales i spotted a perfectly shaped turban on the side of the road! - obviously i didnt get it! but thought it was quite funny how it must have flown off an indian mans head in his convertible!:D
As mentioned in that planners thread.. Years ago I was renovating my G2 listed cottage in Ironbridge, Shropshire. Well as I was digging out the cellar (house was on massive hill coming out of the village) I found a safe dug into the wall under the road.. It took 2 days to dig out and was all rusted up. We tried to open it but it being iron we took it to Blists Hill museum so they could open it, turns out there were some plans of Coalbrookdale and some letter stamps ( the wax seal variety)
I wanted to keep the map of the area but the museum insisted we hand it over to the museum. Last time I went there it was still on display.
Nice.

A gold ring.
Missing children on the Quantocks as darkness came in.
They'd been missing for 3 hrs, it was raining and getting dark when i was told by the first policeman to arrive on the scene. I'd just finished a ride, but took off in search. It's helps to know the area and how to use the landscape to your advantage when searching for people.
Great feeling to reunite them all.
Tops anything material i've found, though a silver sixpence on the SWCP was pretty cool.
Myself- after several operations I hit a dark period in my life. Through biking I found myself again and never looked back since 🙂
A satsuma by the side of the road...about 500km inside the Arctic Circle in Finland, in the middle of a pine and birch forest.
Found a massive "king dick" adjustable spanner near a railway once
