Was wondering where the best place to sell legos would be. I have 38lb of 85% star wars, some older castle sets, a few mars sets, and one older ferrari race set. Looked on ebay and nothing seemed to be selling, only the stuff for cheap. I dont expect to get a lot but i figured more that $250. I seperated them into all the different colors last weekend, which took up almost all my time. I tried building them to sell as complete sets separately, but spent 2h on one that im only 75% done with. I need some cash with college and I dont have a large amount of time to build legos and study at the same time. Thanks!

EBay or car boot sale.. Although £250 sounds a bit ambitious... Just because it's expensive to buy new doesn't mean it's collectable or an investment.

As a non lego person, if I wanted that amount I'd say more £50 - £100.

Do you have this figure? If not, I suspect Drac may be able to provide it.

Given that the weight is in lbs, the price quoted is in dollars and the mention of college then the seller would be US based. Or maybe Canada...
You never know it might be genuine...

Definitely in the USA.

They are the only ones who can use such a terrible word as "legos".

And why does everyone want him banned? Just asked a simple question for his first post.

Imagine joining an American football forum and asking, as your first post, "Lea & Perrins or Hendo's?"

He was banned pretty much straight away. I never closed it as I fell asleep as I'm on nights.

Plural of Lego = blocks?

It's "LEGO bricks" officially, or just "LEGO." ("Legos" isn't just the Brits getting pissy about language, it's officially incorrect according to the Lego Corp itself.)

Ripping people off is one thing, but NEVER use incorrect grammar on STW!

What Cougar said. I've had this argument with my American family and for once, there is official irrefutable confirmation that I am right.

Doesn't stop them continuing to ague though.
