We've done best single/album/gig but what about video. Can't work out how to put a link up, but can I start it off with my suggestion of "Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys? Gotta love those moustaches.
There you go.
Thanks deluded...for those who haven't seen it...enjoy.
I see your Beastie Boys and I'll raise you this (strangely featuring a cameo by two of them):
I forgot all about Weapon Of Choice. Genius!
Unfinished sympathy, massive attack. All one shot, slow mo, very clever.
I think it started the "music videos of people walking down the street" trend
Super Furry Animals - Play It Cool
can't watch it as
This video contains content from SME, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.
the arsehats
Always quite liked Freak on a Leash.
Fatboy Slim - Praise You
I'm sure this started all those flash mobs.
There is another video, of a train journey, but everything you see is related to the song, pylons are hi-hats, building is a crash. etc.. Cannot remember the song name tho!
Tenacious D, Tribute. Look out for Dave Grohl and Ben Stiller cameos.

"Be you Angels..?"
"Nay, we are but men. ROCK!! Ahhhhh, ahhhh, ah hahahaha" etc.
Christina Aquilera - Dirty ๐
Another Spike Jonze
Last minute is absolute crackers!
or
I Miss You by Bjork.
This is ace. Thanks to whoever posted it on the Tune association thread a while back
No one's mentioned Gangnam Style yet? For shame! Humour, explosions, speedboats, horses... What more do you need?
Some of the Foo Fighters' videos have been good, Learn To Fly, Monkeywrench and Pretender being examples.
+1 Sabotage
+1 Windowlicker
Wouldn't say it was the best ever, but the bike is ace!
Ian Brown - F.E.A.R.
Always like Human Behaviour by Bjork, cracking video.
I can't see the youtube links so apologise if it's already been posted.
Prodigy - smack my bitch up
Whilst none of these'd count as the best (some very good choices already), they're worthy of mention:
a community centre, lots of toys, and even more spare time (the song gets samey when listened to by itself - the video vastly improves - that's the point, right?) - use the HD option:
I saw Korn's Freak On A Leash video not long ago - that hasn't aged well. Seemed so good when it came out..
original and best.

And probably my fave:
Must have cost peanuts to make, and kicks every other music video ever into a cocked hat!
Cant see links but Duran Durans Girls on film always gives me a nice fuzy feeling.
Johnny Cash - Hurt
For pure smiles, syncopated awesomeness & good music to boot, I suggest

&
The Hollerados - amerincanana
&

oh oh oh, i forgot one!
Arcade Fire's interactive Wilderness Downtown video thingummy (brought to you in association with google chrome, available in all good internets) where the character runs down your road. Worth a look for those that missed it - i'm tempted to download chrome again for another go.

This is beautiful, Her Morning Elegance - Oren Lavie
This for funnsies, 50 Ways to Say Goodbye - Train
Any ZZ Top 1980's vid is great but check out 30 Seconds to Mars 'From Yesterday'
and for a pure rock video Audioslave 'Cochise'
Enjoy!
This is brilliant! I haven't seen loads of these. There's some great stuff on here.
I think it has to be Beastie's Sabotage video, it's still brilliant.
Also, Make Some Noise is a brilliant video off the last album.
And a (probably NSFW due to swearing and stuff) brilliant bit of animation for Killer Mike's Reagan video.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Worst music video ever? Hhhhmmm are you sure?
