My vote goes for Man Machine by Kraftwerk. Listening to it just now after a half bottle of red and it's just incredible.

Good call on Screamadelica. Defined a few years for me that one did.

I saw the recent tour, and whilst the Screamadelica set was very good, it was clear that the band just wanted to play rock n roll. The encore took the roof off with Jailbird/rocks/country girl.

Leftism another great album.

For me, another one was FSOL Accelerator. It used to just keep looping in the car.

Nitin Sawhney - Beyond Skin deserves a mention too I reckon..
and Akasha Project but I couldn't pick an album.. maybe Cosmic Ambient Garden.. and my last nomination will be..

The Irresistible Force - It's Tomorrow Already

Leftism is genius!
808 state - pacific is an under-rated gem.
Massive Attack - Mezzanine when you're in a dark, thoughtful mood
Underworld - dubnobass takes some beating. Just for 'cowgirl' alone!
Does the happy Mondays hallelujah EP count? It's one of the greatest of any genre, ever recorded!

And for retro electronic, how about OMD - Architecture and Morality? Just listen to Georgia. Superb!

Smiling now remembering when it was gloveboxes full of tapes, recorded by mates, and there was always something new tagged on the end to fill the 90mins. 🙂

And reading the posts I missed - CJ bolland. Brilliant. Messy night up the Orbit.

Daft Punk - Homework to me remains their finest moment.
