Generally anything that Nouvelle Vague cover but this Soft Cell cover is a favourite
And on the subject of remix's I stumbled over this beauty about a year ago which is so wrong but oh so right

Mike Masse has done some brilliant covers. His Africa cover is one of the best though -
There's an interview video with Mike as well, and he's met Toto, and they said that's how the song should of been done, but they couldn't sing well enough.
I'm also liking ortoPilot's cover of '74-'75 just now-
