2012 Berlingo, Just noticed when I have the Aircon on the radiator fan starts up, but it just cycles on and off every 5 seconds or so, regardless of engine temp. In the past when Aircon was in it just used to run the radiator fan constantly.

So...
What's wrong, some kind of temp sensor? Easy fix? Or will it be ok just leaving it like that, engine temp is normal when driving, or will it cause another problem eventually..

Thanks

Is it the radiator fan or does the AC condenser have a separate fan of its own?

On my 2005 Berlingo I had an issue with one of the fan sensors. I can't remember anything other than is was a simple, if a bit fiddly to reach, swap.

Just the one main fan as far as I can see, definitely the AC thats making it come on though, if I start the engine from cold and put the AC on it cycles the fan on and off every few seconds.
