I've got a cheap, AAA battery powered, Panasonic beard trimmer but it's not great. I trim my beard about once a week down to the 3mm setting so I'm really looking for a 'stubble' trimmer.
Looking on Amazon everything seems to have very mixed reviews - theres nothing I can find that doesn't have some very valid sounding 1*.
Any recommendations from here?
I had a mains powered Wahl ages ago, it worked great. I now have a rechargable Philip which works but is a bit weak.
whatever boots are selling at half price for around 15ish quid.... usually a Philips one with all the various attachments. always last me a good few years

Your * then your * pretty boy!
i've got some rechargeable phillips thing, it's great, sorry I don't know the model number it's probably discontinued now anyways.
My wife uses a wahl trimmer too
Wahl clippers for general beard trimming and Tweezerman moustache scissors for a tidy tache.
The I stubble, expensive but unbeatable IMO Argos had it half price recently,
Rechargeable Wahl clippers here.
Had them probably 13 years or so and still working fine.
Mains powered hair clippers like the ones in the barbers. "Beard trimmers" seem to last about a year then just die, or seize.
I've got one of these

The best thing about it is that it's got a kind of Hoover bit in it to collect the trimmings
