We will be in touch
Just about to start replacing our bathroom suite and re-tile. Not moving anything about so it is just a case of replacing the old suite. Been to a few bathroom places and there appears a very wide range in prices. Just looking for recommended names to go for as the majority look very similar. Just looking for something that will last well. We would be looking at getting a bath, toilet and sink from the same manufacturer ideally. Just something fairly modern looking and simple. Will probably be ordering online and prefer to avoid homebase, B&Q etc. Prefer to pay a little more for something that will last and look good as not aiming to replace it again for a fair few years.
Go to your local plumber's merchant - they won't sell crap (as they deal with professionals) and you can also get proper advice from knowledgable staff. I have fitted out two bathrooms like this and not had a single issue. And they are no more expensive than online places.

Beloved of social housing providers as it’s clean, simple, bulletproof and comes in a wide range of sizes / configurations for the various products.
Geberits are all the rage for our bathrooms at the moment. Social housing gone posh for the fat and useless.

Just because so called professionals use them doesn't mean they don't sell crap. Plenty of Pro's fit crap and do crap jobs.
We're in the process of refreshing our bathroom and using Duravit and HansGrohe...so top quality gear and not as expensive as you might think...not the cheapest, but not rediculously expensive. We are replacing an Ideal Standard suite whic has been brilliant for the 12 years or so we've had it.
+1 for going to plumbers merchants and taking a look around (I actually went with the plumber that was doing the work which helped as he knew the people there well). Although initially intending to get a suite I actually ended up with bath, sink and toilet from 3 different makes (but close enough in style they could pass as being from the same).
Bath - got a steel ex-display Kaldwei one (was only £250ish inc. a 3 panel shower screen)
Sink - ended up with a vanity unit one (not something I'd considered before). Partly as it was ex-display so a bargain (£200ish) but also really liked the look of it (modern design unlike a lot of vanity units). The hidden storage space is great.
Toilet - went with a Grohe wall-hung one that I'd decided on when researching on the Internet (the plumber's merchant could supply it for as cheap as I could find it on the Internet). I wouldn't get a wall-hung one again but mostly as it couldn't be secured as well as it needed (no existing stud wall) and has ended up flexing slightly (enough to crack a tile below the mounting bolts). Not much I can do about it not without ripping out a lot of the tiling so have just wedged something underneath it - not a look I really wanted though :p
Taps & Shower also via the plumbers merchant (taps I decided during the visit as were similar in style to what I wanted), shower although the sales guy at the plumbers merchant gave some good advice I'd already decided on a Grohe one, which they supplied at very close to the best price I'd seen on the Internet.
