Does decent free bathroom planning software exist?

I’ve tried room sketcher, but it doesn’t really work unless your prepared to pay.

Any good free systems?

Ta

I have access to a lot of snazzy 3D software at home and work but still ended up using the B&Q online one despite buying from somewhere else.

Our bathroom fitter ignored it and fitted it how he liked.

Free sketchup might work or just squared paper cut to size

Graph paper and scale rule. Or just an ordinary ruler if you choose a 1:10 or 1:100 scale. Cut out bits to replicate the units and sit on the bog, stand at the basin etc. to work out what clearances you need.
I design, build and fit bedrooms and bathrooms and that's how I do it

I used sketchup for ours. It took a while to learn how to use it, followed a few youtube tutorials.

I couldn't find anything else that was really suitable (considering only the freebie online company based planners)

There aren’t many things in a bathroom so maybe simplest to do it using pen and paper (no need for a ruler).

The main complication (particularly if a smaller room) being deciding the space needed between items/walls to allow comfortable use. But Fairly straight forward to factor this info into a diagram.

Reddit RoomPorn, filtered for bathrooms
Unless you're in a mansion it's going to be a fairly modest space. There are only so many permutations of bath/basin/toiler/shower. I'd recommend less time learning how to brute force Sketchup into doing room design and more time looking at nice bathrooms that other people have done and just copy one of those.

The one on the b&q website works really well.

Ive used floorplanner for the house but you can do indivdual rooms too. Works well if you already have a plan like you get on rightmove. You can scale to the plan too so measurements should be half decent (providing the doors etc are in the right place on the plan.)
