Would like some vicarious fun. Preferably two day ride with camping, you see:
Wife's and mother's birthdays on the same day, bank holiday weekend, every year forever. And ever. Arghmen.
Should just whip myself with nettles.

You are looking at this all wrong...what a lovely idea of you of buying them both a spa weekend together for their birthday...women only of course...
