Just chatting to my neighbour, who's from Zimbabwe. They recently bought an ageing Vauxhall pickup, I asked him why they'd changed the minibus they used to have. He said they were planning to go back home for a visit, and they were going to drive!
Ok, not driving all the way - apparently you can put your car on a boat to Namibia, then you can fly down and drive from there through Botswana. How flippin cool is that? 🙂

Botswana is a nice country. We narrowly avoided being robbed there in our hotel room, nonetheless.

I've driven* t'other way, from Zim -> Namibia, Botswana is proper huge sky country.
* not me personally, in a truck with a load of antipodeans.
