Niche perhaps but,

Archer Maclean, author of Jimmy White's Whirlwind Snooker (and a bunch of other snooker / pool related titles) and International Karate+ passed away on Christmas Eve.

Snooker on the Amiga 500 remember it well. I was utterly rubbish at it but it was technically impressive for its time.

IK+ was a big part of my childhood, but Jimmy Whites Whirlwind Snooker felt flawless when it came out.  Never a huge snooker fan, but that game had me hooked for years. So many knock off versions now on phone apps, but none as good as the original.
