I like the Sikh with 5INCH 🙂

I wonder if and when he realises that, if he'll ever be able to see it as anything else

My missus (Fiona Oxley) has F10 XLY on her car. Total bargain basement price as well, which was a bonus. The flipside is some arse who bought OXL 3Y for £2500 in 2004 and now wants me to give him £30,000 for it. Obviously I've told him where to get off.

Pauly, I know 'of' Aidan M, had the plate on a shitty 309 convertable.

His pappy owned Plymouth and Tivvy town footy clubs.

After recounting this tale at work someone said that there is an Audi 4x4 ariund with B16 0MAR - apparently he is a producer/star of "gentlemens special interest" movies.

I haven't dared google it.

Private plates are a bit like humour then? If you've got to explain it, it doesn't work.

I've seen:

Tasty looking blonde in a blue Porsche reg HOT 80X

Also a rangey in Manchester reg XTC 42

I'd like CRA 1G which is currently on an Aston Martin Vantage V8 and I don't think I could afford it.

51MIN (SIMON)

Come again?

I saw an X5 with a buggered-about-with "W1GEL" on it, presumably owned by some trumpet called Nigel. I don't think if I had to work with him I'd be able to stop myself calling him Wigel to his face. I enjoy thinking that someone somewhere is doing that until he finally cracks and then has a nervous breakdown. It gives me a warm glow inside.

Sir, Why waste money on expensive personalised number plates? Simply change your name to that of your existing registration. Sincerely, Mr C615 GED, Huddersfield.

There's a newish expensive Porsche 911 round our way with the illegal plate YE5 1 CAN on it. I guess the question was 'can you turn that classy expensive car into an oik-mobile spending under £20?'
🙄

I can't help thinking that cannot possibly offer good value for money. Couldn't she get a multi-purpose reg so that she could use her VW T5 for shopping or whatever else she might need to ?

I don't know if they still own them but Manchester Audi used to have both AUD 1 and AUD 11. The dealer is owned by Jardine Motors who also own Abridge Loughton and Harlow (Volkswagen dealers). I can't remember which VW site it was, but they owned the registration number VW 1.

Barons BMW/Mini (Farnborough and Hindhind) own BUY 1 and BUY 2
